Empowering Small Business Owners Through Financial Education


Research found that small business owners and entrepreneurs had shockingly low financial literacy. With Intuit’s QuickBooks Online, we saw an opportunity to solve that issue and educate both existing and potential users in the process.



To help Canadian entrepreneurs reach their full business potential, we developed a survey to understand their financial management challenges. Next, we launched a financial literacy quiz on that asked a series of basic questions about financial terminology. At the end of the quiz, users were provided a score, links to additional QuickBooks blog content, information on upcoming webinars and call to action to try or buy QuickBooks Online.

The omni-channel campaign leveraged creative assets across earned, owned, social and paid media to drive awareness, consideration, and conversion.

The Know Your Worth campaign educated small business owners and helped solidify Intuit’s position as a true partner to Canadian small business. It also outpaced all program benchmarks, generating 83,000 social engagements, 64.7 million earned media impressions, 65,000 clicks to the landing page, and 12,000 conversions.
