One Website That Led to a Lasting Relationship (And a Few More Websites).

IDEA

In 2015, Sunkist Growers had an out-of-date website that was neither technologically nor aesthetically modern amid the rapid evolution of online platforms in the consumer food space. Edelman was engaged to design, build, and deploy a new Sunkist.com, bringing the brand story to life while serving as a robust resource of citrus information via multiple subdomains for consumers, growers and trade groups. Following a successful collaboration across Edelman offices, the integrated sites launched simultaneously in North America.

IMPACT

Since then, Edelman’s support has continued to expand across functions, borders, and web domains, too. Edelman’s offices have worked seamlessly together to not only maintain the original website, but to launch seven global sites translated in local languages. From a technical standpoint, this single-CMS installation allows the client to manage and oversee the content of their international markets in one place. It streamlines the day-to-day maintenance of all sites by sharing security rules, code base and infrastructure. The client can also add new websites under their global network at will, while still benefiting from economies of scale.

The cross-office team manages the brand’s e-communication efforts from content development to deployment and has served in an ad hoc advisory role to help enhance the digital infrastructure of Sunkist-owned properties.

The ongoing success of the agency-client relationship and robust digital remit can be attributed to a commitment to integration, process, and proactivity that helps Sunkist stay an industry leader in the digital space.
